What is the difference between a hotel and a serviced apartment?
Serviced apartments are gradually emerging as the most preferred place to stay for both corporate and long term travellers today. A serviced apartment is a rental facility, like a hotel, where you can stay for a few weeks depending on the nature and purpose of your visit.
Many guests prefer to stay at serviced apartments when they relocate to a new city and have to look for a permanent place. The reason why serviced apartments are the preferred choice for those who seek transit accommodation either for short-term or extended stay is because living at a serviced apartment feels much like living at home. Serviced apartments are operated much like hotels-- you reserve rooms by calling or writing to the property, you follow a check-in and check-out schedule, and you don't have to pay extra for services such as housekeeping, maintenance and utilities. At ICH, All our Serviced apartments offer all the amenities & services that a Luxury Hotel provides if not more. The similarity, however, ends here.
Serviced apartments are usually 30% to 35% less expensive when you compare them to hotels. This is because the pricing structure at serviced apartments is predicated on longer duration stays thus resulting in significantly higher occupancy ratios.
Serviced apartments are more spacious allowing you to literally spread yourself all over the place. All ICH apartments have a Kitchen, Lounge room, Dining Room & thus offer a lot of space as compared to Hotels.
Service apartments offer a more homely experience and are thus the most preferred choice for long stay business traveller. The Guests also have the advantage of cooking there own meals in a Service Apartment.
Service Apartments are also pet friendly.
Where are our serviced apartments located?
ICH has its network of Serviced Apartments in Gurgaon , New Delhi, Noida, Mumbai, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Chennai, Gurgaon . We are expanding our network of Serviced Apartments and will have our base in most parts of India in our offerings.
Are taxes included in the price?
Taxes are not included in the price of the Apartments and vary for every individual apartment. For more details, kindly contact our agents for more details.
How much do I pay to make the booking?
To secure a booking we require a 35% deposit to be paid on credit card. This amount shall be refundable subject to the cancellation policies of India Corporate Housing.
How and when do I pay the remaining balance?
On arrival you are asked to sign a credit card slip that covers the remaining balance of the rental charge.
Is there a security deposit that I have to pay on arrival?
You will be required to provide credit card details or another form of payment to act as security during your stay. This may vary from individual apartments. For more details, kindly contact our agents for more details.
How secure are my credit card details?
We use the strongest commercially available encryption technology when you send your credit card details to us. Also, as we host our own website (we do not use a 3rd party host) the details are sent directly to us, encrypted all the way.
Where will we get the keys?
We provide you complimentary pickup service from the airport / railway station.One our agents will be escorting you and will have the keys to your residence. All this information will be provided to you in a confirmation e- mail after you book.
What time can we arrive and depart?
We are flexible on the arrival time as we understand that people travelling from abroad can have different flights timings due to flight zone difference.
Who will meet us at the apartment?
When you book we will ask you your anticipated arrival time in order that we can arrange for a greeter to be expecting you. In most cases you can proceed directly to the apartment, or an adjacent building, to pick up the keys. This will be supplied to you in a confirmation e- mail after you book.
What happens if something goes wrong whilst I am staying in the apartment?
At ICH, our Customer Support Team works round the clock to provide you a memorable stay. You can contact the team anytime with your concerns.
What happens if I need to cancel?
If, for any reason you need to cancel the booking - please notify us immediately by email, fax or phone. Please see our Terms and Conditions and the individual apartment description pages for more details on cancellation policies.
What if I don't like the apartment when I arrive?
What you see on our website is what you will get when you reach. If you don't like the apartment, please let our agent know immediately. We want everyone to be happy with their choosen apartment. For that reason we provide many photos and an honest, accurate description to ensure that you know what you are booking. There should be no surprises when you arrive. If you have reasonable concerns or doubts about an apartment we will try to deal with them at the apartment or accommodate you elsewhere subject to availability. If you choose not to take the apartment for reasons that we consider to be unreasonable the cancellation policy will apply.
Can I bring my bicycle, motorbike, Car, etc.?
We have enough parking space to take care of such needs. However ICH has to be intimated beforehand for any such requests.
Are there extra charges for gas, electricity or water?
There are no additional charges for gas, electricity or water. Separate allowances should be made for telephone calls, subject to VAT. However for a booking of more than a month, some of our individual apartments carry such charge. For more details, kindly see individual apartment booking conditions.
What is the minimum stay?
Normally the minimum stay is 1 week. There is no maximum booking requirement. Bookings are subject to availability.
Do the apartments provide wheel-chair access?
Some of our apartments have lift access, but may still have one or more steps to negotiate. Please contact us to discuss your requirements before booking.
